Announcing Tennessee Songwriter’s Week 2025 Competition

The Tennessee Department of Tourist Development is once again coordinating the 2025 Tennessee Songwriter’s Week with a final event being held at the Bluebird Cafe.  The goal is to support music venues and songwriters with live performances across the state as well as to inspire Tennesseans and tourists to experience the state’s artists and music heritage.  

For Tennessee Songwriters Week 2025,  Nobels is proud to announce it has been accepted as a qualifying round venue to select two songwriters who will advance to the showcase round at The Franklin Theater on March 1. 

The initial qualifying event at Nobels will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 5 pm on The Rainy Night Stage at Nobels. Two winners will be selected and chosen to advance to The Franklin Theater on March 1. All songwriters must appear in one qualifying round. 

Starting December 13, Nobel's qualifying round signups will open until all 15 songwriter slots are filled, and will close no later than January 25,  2025 at 5:00 PM CT. There will be a waiting list for any songwriter past the initial 15 signups.
